Monitor Orton system of pest management utilizing indicator plants and degree-days to predict specific pest outbreaks.

Prior Arboricultural or educational experience preferred

IPM responsibilities involving herbaceous materials in Greenhouse during growing and while in annual display beds.

Holds a Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification

Apply necessary chemicals following IPM chart at proper rate, weather conditions, to target plants using proper safety procedures.

Develop and implement effective daily schedule to minimize guest interface with chemical applications.

Oversee property management projects to establish timelines and meet deadlines

Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in hospitality management or business administration

Hospitality and guest service experience, including solid knowledge of the local area

Excellent oral, written communication and listening skills

Honest, respectful, trustworthy, dependable, caring and fun

Excellent employee and member interaction

Partners with Event Management and/or Operations in providing a customer experience that exceeds the customer’s expectations.

Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.

Coordinates site visits and partners when appropriate for in-market sales managers (e.g., Account Executives and Senior Account Executives)

Partners with account/selling manager to develop creative aspects of site visit

Provides expert knowledge on local destination (e.g., local attractions, events, etc.)

Down the road: develop a team of localized Account Managers, manage them and ensure team goals are achieved.

2+ years of B2B sales, e-commerce or travel tech experience a plus

Confident, approachable, an independent self-starter, good organizational skills

Knowledge of the South Florida tourism market and its vendors is a plus

Has strong knowledge of the following features/functionalities: Instant Book, Advance Notice, Calendar, and Calendar Sync. XYZ.
