Data Science Assistant Intern Jobs

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience

Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data

Compile and analyze data related to business issues

Experience with Data Modeling. Fundamental understanding of data analytics, science and ML. Experience analyzing big data & building data solutions.

Experience with more than one coding language.

Knowledge and experience on Python

Perform data cleaning utilizing pandas.

Work closely with our head of data science and machine learning to create an actionable data science roadmap for the year.

Create science-backed synthetic data for training and labeling.

Understanding of Pandas and Data Science libraries

Previous experience with data management, cleaning, or curation is preferred

Previous experience with databases or quantitative research

Pursuing an undergraduate/graduate level degree or accredited certification programs, a mathematics or computer related field is preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities

Support the DS team in curating data via established business rules.

Higher Education (Masters or PhD) Student

Coursework and/or professional experience with a high-level programming language like: Java and/or Python

Experience with state-of-the-art machine learning tool kits and algorithms

Collaborating the the data engineering team on the evolution of our internal data platforms

Prototyping state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence focused projects

Hard skills: experience with programming (python), data analysis (excel), machine learning (computer vision), etc.

Soft skills: self-driven, self-starter, logic-based problem solving. An excellent communicator and team player.

Enrolled in an undergraduate program for applied computational mathematics, data science, or engineering.
