Overview A Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks in a healthcare setting. They work with healthcare providers and staff to ensure that patient safety is maintained and that all risks are managed appropriately. They also work to develop strategies to reduce the risk of medical errors and other adverse events. Clinical Risk Managers are responsible for developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, analyzing data, and providing education and training to healthcare staff. They also work to identify and mitigate potential risks, and to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred
• Certification in risk management preferred
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare administration or risk management
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
• Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement processes
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare administration or risk management
• Experience in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures
• Experience in conducting risk assessments
• Experience in analyzing data and identifying trends
• Experience in providing education and training to healthcare staff
