RRD Marketing Solutions is a full service sheet-fed commercial printer specializing in the print, fulfillment and distribution of In-Store Marketing solutions. Our RRD Marketing Solutions plant offers a full range of digital print-on-demand (wide- and grand-format and color and black & white with variable data capabilities), just-in-time offset print, pre-produced inventory management, warehousing and distribution services. We are strategically located in St. Charles with the capability of servicing any customer nationwide. Customers can access a network of strategically located RR Donnelley facilities throughout North America to optimize production and fulfillment for longer-run stored inventory and short-run on-demand materials. Job description:

Ensures that production goals are met.

• Troubleshoots problems to maintain quality standards and to keep line equipment in running condition.
• Cleans, lubricates and maintains assigned machine to ensure its optimum operations.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
• Examines product frequently to ensure that it meets customer quality specifications.
• Pulls and inspects hourly run samples and notifies the Supervisor in the event quality standards are not being met.
• May provide training for new team members.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out-tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.

Required Skills

• Ability to read, understand and carry out written instructions.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs. frequently.
• Continuous eye concentration
• Ability to understand verbal instructions.
• Standing 100% of the entire time.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to make and read measurements.
• Grasping with both hands for long periods of time.

Required Experience

• High School/GED and/or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
