Lowcountry Yoga has two boutique studios in the Charleston, SC area. Located in Mount Pleasant and Summerville, Lowcountry Yoga is a welcoming and elegant yoga studio business that combines the spirit of the lowcountry with the practice of yoga. In exquisite form, the lowcountry integrates old and new. Similarly, Lowcountry Yoga integrates the mechanics and philosophy of yoga, connecting the physical with the mental and emotional.

We are looking for experienced and passionate Yoga Teachers to join our team. Experience and training in Hatha Yoga and/or Barre/Pilates/HIIT highly desired. Weekend, evening and daytime time slots currently available.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in yoga instruction, be knowledgeable about the various styles of yoga, and be able to create a welcoming and safe environment for students. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading classes, providing guidance and support to students, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and comfortable environment for students to practice in.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed.
• Educate students on the benefits of yoga and proper breathing techniques.
• Encourage students to challenge themselves while still respecting their limits.
• Demonstrate proper form and technique for yoga poses.
• Provide modifications for poses to accommodate different levels of fitness.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

• Summerville, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Yoga Alliance 200 hour Certification (Preferred)
