About us

Mota Thai Yoga offers Hot Yoga, Silks, Hot Vinyasa, Yin/Restorative Yoga and more. Our classes combine yoga, ballet, pilates, and martial arts. We are an authorized RYS 200 hr and RYS 300 hr through Yoga Alliance. All of our teachers are certified in CPR/AED/First Aid through the Red Cross. Mota Thai Yoga is located in downtown Ann Arbor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for teaching yoga in a professional and safe manner, providing modifications to accommodate various abilities.

2. Arrive at the studio before your class starts, leaving enough time for proper set up, ending on time, and making sure that the yoga space is clean before leaving the studio.

3. Demonstrate responsibility by teaching your scheduled classes and seeking substitute teachers in advance.

4. Meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform the job duties.

5. Learn the details of the front desk work, and help periodically before and after other classes scheduled at the studio.

6. Participate in workshops/events as needed.

Qualifications:

• CPR/AED certification required (provided by Mota Thai Yoga)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Able to work with other teachers/instructors and students in a positive and professional manner
• Responsible and reliable
• RYT 200 Certification (or willing to take MTY’s 200 hour certification training)
