Job Description

As a Warehouse Yard Jockey/Truck Driver you’ll be responsible for the movement of trailers between pads, doors and buildings on a timely basis. You’ll also be responsible for moving trailers around the lot and preparing them to be loaded, as well as shuttling trailers. (Buscamos conductor de trailer Yard-Goat de tiempo completo)


Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff via two-way radio.
  • Checking trailers for safety
  • Performing lot and door checks
  • Timely movements of trailers in the yard
  • Sliding tandems to meet state bridge laws.
  • Use two-way radio with sort operator, shipping lead and shipping supervisor.


Qualifications

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 50 lbs. or more and the ability to sit for extended periods of time. Candidates must also have sufficient strength and dexterity to control tractor and hitch full or empty trailers, as well as eye/hand coordination.
