Yard Dog Driver Details
  • Assist with docking trailers.
  • Maneuver trucks within the yard.
  • Yard dog drivers help move semi-trailers with cargo in a warehouse environment.
  • 2nd shift 4pm-12:30am
  • Full Time work available
  • Various shifts available
  • Weekend work required
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • 1st shift 6am-2:30pm
  • $ 18.13 to $ 18.88 / hour
Yard Dog Driver Qualifications
  • Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to back a tractor trailer and move in and out of yard truck repetitively.
  • A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire. We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.
  • Ability to work out doors, in the elements, year round.
  • Must have 2 years of previous tractor trailer, flatbed or box truck driving experience.
  • No high school diploma or GED required!
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Valid Alabama drivers license required.
  • Ability for frequent walking, bending, reaching and pushing.
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
