Yacht Steward/Stewardess Jobs

Yacht Steward/Stewardess position available on 80 foot Hatteras Motor Yacht. This Yacht is based out of Virginia, but spends the winters in Florida and the Bahamas. During the summertime, we will travel throughout the Chesapeake Bay, we will also travel up North towards Martha's Vineyard, Rhode Island, etc. This position is available immediately for full time employment.

As a yacht steward/stewardess you are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the interior of the yacht, assisting to keep the outside clean, and assisting with docking. Your responsibility includes everything inside of the yacht.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining the interior of the yacht
• Laundry
• Making beds when needed
• Keeping the floors clean
• Assist the Owner or Captain as needed
• Attend the bar from time to time when guests are on board
• Assist with some outside duties of cleaning

Qualifications include:

• Interior cleaning of the yacht
• Experience handling lines and finders
• 3 years experience on a yacht

Working Conditions

• Ability to stand on your feet for longer periods of time
• Accommodations for the person to live aboard yacht.
• Must be comfortable working holidays, weekends and extended periods of time.
• Must be able to travel up and down the East Coast.
• Ability to work outdoors in an environment with various weather conditions such as heat and cold at times.
