Stillwater Medical's north Urgent Care is looking for a part-time team member who will perform xrays and complete laboratory tests. Experience is required for this PRN position.

The details: Hours are varied and can be between 4 and 20 hours per week.The clinic is open 7:00 am-7:00 pm weekdays and 9 am-5 pm weekends.
Job Summary
Responsible for performing x-ray techniques and laboratory tests, maintaining all required documentation for regulatory agencies, and maintaining all supplies and equipment in proper working order. Performs other functions as requested by the Laboratory Manager, supervising Radiology Technologist, or Clinic Manager.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to include synonyms for common tests.
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Excellent verbal, written, and clerical skills.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent. (Current Radiology or Laboratory Student preferred)
  • Completion of department orientation and competency.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Coordination and motor skills required for obtaining blood specimens from patients following OSHA guidelines.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects to include small technical equipment is required.
  • Motor skills must allow safe handling of blood borne pathogens and other biohazardous body fluids according to OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, physicians, patients, and fellow employees.
  • Able to work in latex burdened environment.
