St. Joseph Hospital, located at 4295 Hempstead Turnpike, Bethpage, New York 11714, is a community hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical, critical care and surgical services. Its Emergency Department cares for approximately 33,000 patients a year. Other vital services include an Ambulatory Surgery Unit, The Center for Sleep Medicine, Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Center, CHS Cancer Center that treats a full array of infusion therapies in a private six chair unit, The Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders, a Diabetes Education Center and a full scope of outpatient radiology services, including Cardiac CT.

St. Joseph Hospital became a member of Catholic Health Services (CHS) of Long Island in early 2010. CHS is an integrated health care delivery system which includes six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional home health agency, hospice and a multiservice, community-based agency for persons with special needs. Xray Tech

Under the general supervision of a radiologist and/or appropriate physician, performs radiographic procedures. Operates x-ray equipment, fixed or mobile, develops film, prepares x-ray room, equipment, supplies and medications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be licensed/registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Must have current licensure to practice in N.Y.S.
• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• BLS required.
