X-Ray Scientist/Engineer Jobs

NSI is looking for a senior scientist/engineer with expertise in x-ray tubes and high voltage power supplies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in high voltage vacuum electronics, charged particle beam optics, radiation production, and high voltage design. Knowledge of switching power supply circuit design and analog circuit design is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and manufacture of sealed vacuum tubes.

Primary responsibilities will include ongoing physics and engineering support of existing products, and improvement of the design and performance of existing products. The position will also provide opportunities for participation in the development of new technology for future products and applications.

This position requires a masters or Ph.D. degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a closely related field plus at least five years of relevant experience. Direct experience with x-ray source development is preferred.
