Since Dynapower's power conversion equipment comes in many shapes and sizes, we have to build custom pallets and crates to protect them during shipping - that's where you'll come in. As part of our Shipping team, you'll build custom pallets and shipping crates both small and large. With standard wood working and carpentry tools such as table saws, nail guns, tape measures, and drills, you'll build and assemble customized crates for finished equipment so it can be safely transported to our customers all over the world. This is a full-time Mon-Fri position with flexible hours (6-8am start), paying $20+ per hour plus a $2000 signing bonus and medical benefits from Day 1. What You'll Be Doing:On an average day, you’ll
- Nail, staple, and shrink wrap containers
- Measure materials/equipment requiring crating and design custom shipping containers
- Weigh and measure the finished dimensions of the shipping container
- Identify and install appropriate packing material to ensure parts are not damaged in transit
- Deliver finished containers to the shipping dock
- Use a variety of saws to cut the wood
- Put safety first, all day every day.
- Experience with various woodworking and carpentry tools and equipment such as panel saws, table saws, compound miter saws, drills, impact drivers, router, nail guns, staplers, etc.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Experience with lumber materials and fasteners
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m - we have flexible hours, allowing you to start your day anytime between 6 and 8 a.m. This position works in a manufacturing production environment. This role routinely uses standard personal protective equipment such as required Safety Glasses and Safety shoes as well as hearing protection and gloves, as required.

- Requires good manual dexterity and coordination, and stamina. Specific abilities required by this job include the frequent requirement of overtime work.
- Constantly move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Specific abilities required by the job include positioning oneself to lift or move objects weighing to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling objects with up to 200 pounds Constant movement and use of limbs. Specific abilities required by this job include prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and frequently pinching and/or gripping.
- Frequently observe, detect, discern, and convey information. Specific abilities required by this job include near, far and color vision acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position may involve access to ITAR (International Traffic and Arms Regulations)-controlled information, requiring verification of US-immigration status which is used solely for determining applicable ITAR licensing requirements. In addition, Dynapower uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization status for all new hires.
