The client is a rapidly growing company in Louisville who is looking for a Windows Support Engineer to join their innovative collaborative team.

As a Windows Support Engineer you will be able to directly leverage your VMware expertise and take the lead on deploying enterprise hardware and software as well as provide support for both Windows server and desktop operating systems.

If you have experience with VMware and deploying enterprise level hardware and software, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Please note this is an onsite position. Candidates must be able to work in the client’s Louisville, KY office.

As a Windows Support Engineer, you will:

• Ensure the security and stability of networks
• Optimize processes and workflows to maximize system performance and availability
• Ability to troubleshoot network and hardware issues
• Deploy enterprise hardware and software
• Lead the server and desktop patching process

Position requirements:

• 3+ years of System Administration experience
• Onsite position at client’s Louisville, KY office
• Demonstrated ability to deploy enterprise level hardware and software
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience managing vendor support tickets
• Experience with Virtualization Software such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience managing SQL Server
• Experience with managing the monthly Microsoft patch cycle
• Expertise in monitoring system health and proactively addressing issues before they impact system availability
