Job Description
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing the fitness program to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of residents. Along with other members of the Resident Services team, the Wellness Coordinator delivers outstanding customer service and develops an enriching community program for the residents that integrate resident needs and interests into their daily routines.
University Village is a 38-acre senior living community located in south Tulsa. $16 - $18 hourly, commensurate upon experience
Requirements
  • Implement standards of exercise, wellness, and senior health at the community
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Applied Health and Recreation, or other related field.
  • Create personalized wellness plans for residents
  • Oversee the wellness center to ensure it is operated in a safe manner for the benefit of our residents·
  • Experience teaching exercise classes and wellness topics.
  • Works within the Resident Services team to promote safety and the well-being of all residents
  • Oversee accurate documentation concerning resident participation in the wellness program
  • Experience working with the aging population, preferred not required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Lead and instruct exercise classes
