Position Summary

ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, Inc. is seeking a metal Welder & Fabricator SMAW. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package.

Essential Functions

  • Be able to read a tape measure
  • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to layout
  • Operate telescopic and regular forklifts (training will be included)
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Weld components utilizing SMAW processes
  • Set up components to be welded based on requirements
  • Operate grinders, torches plasma cutters, shears and other welding related tools

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Must be qualified under Section 4 of American Welding Society D1.1 Structural Steel Code or equivalent code for Overhead (4G) and Vertical (3G) or all positions, SMAW
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, and gases
  • Ability to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity

Manufacturer’s training will be an integral part of this position. Applicant must be willing to learn new techniques, follow safety guidelines as they evolve in our industry, and remain certified within the various portions of our field.
