Position Overview

The Web Engineer I is responsible for the development of a wide range of digital tools and software applications that comply with company policies and procedures. Duties include working with cross-functional teams and managers to develop applications specified by business and functional requirements. The Web Engineer I will work to develop and identify areas of improvement in the entire product life cycle of existing and new products.

Responsibilities

• Be a self-managing, full participant in cross-functional agile teams: define tasks and assignments and complete them by committed dates and timelines and help teammates do the same.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain our Whole-Person software platform using modern web and mobile development stacks.
• Embrace new technologies and strive to follow best practices and procedures.
• Review other developer’s code.
• Implement scalable applications that meet business requirements and can be distributed globally.

Requirements

Education:

• Minimum of four-year degree computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field; OR equivalent experience.

Experience

• 1-2+ Years of Web Development
• 1-2+ Years of RESTful API Consumption and Development
• 1-2+ Years of Node.js, React, React Native, JSON
• 1-2+ Years of MySQL

Salary Description

$70,000-$80,000 annually
