The Web Developer will:

• Design, develop, implement, oversee, and adapt Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for a number of different types of organizations in business, education, science, and other fields in which data queries are made via internet and cloud platforms.
• Participate in discussions, meetings, conferences, publication evaluations and special projects, providing accurate and relevant feedback within specified timeframes.
• Write code and incorporate existing APIs into that code and write an original APIs specific to the Missiles Division mission needs.
• Provide support in the pursuit of content by surveying internal customers to gather feedback and requirements.
• Consult with local and external experts to synthesize data flows from other data producers into the Missiles Division visualization and analytic tools.
• Use analytics and other available methods to dynamically generate metrics on data, web pages, and products to easily visualize and show relationships between the vast amounts of information to include an overarching view of use of data, web pages and production.
• Research, advise, and assist in implementing software development and data sharing in compliance with data security policies.
• Assist with the development, maintenance, and refinement of new or existing applications and leverage existing available software/hardware to enhance the visualization and flow of information into and out of the JIOC to support awareness with the Command, JFCCs, Agencies, Partner Nations and the IC. This will include using web maps to combine disparate data sources within the Intelligence Community to visualize hot spots and relationships within the data elements.
• Perform services at a flexible and dynamic environment for integrating, testing, and evaluating prototype software development into current GOTS/COTS programs.
• Create, assist and advise on the synthesis and synchronization of JIOC products so analytic dashboards are utilized as a major source for information sharing, dissemination, collaboration and decision making.
• Use Rapid Application Development (RAD) to develop products in accordance with established processes and governing directives, research the availability and adequacy of existing products, identify shortfalls which may impact the Command's readiness and responsiveness for mission execution, and provide assessments used in the development of production plans.

Requirements:

• A minimum 3 years’ experience creating customized workflows and web-based forms to include experience improving business processes and automating the collection, organization, dissemination and archival of intelligence products using XSLT, XSL-FO, XQuery, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, shell scripting, and node.js.
• A minimum 3 years’ experience using JavaScript, Python, JSON/ JSONP, REST calls, and SQL for the modification and manipulation of new or existing APIs to support integration with new and existing capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience integrating data from several sources throughout the Intelligence Community into a single location on dashboards with integrated, filterable, and searchable features to access data across the Intelligence Community.
• Demonstrated experience with data security management on DoD classified networks with both client-side and server side applications.
• The ability to expertly use web design and development tools such as Notepad++ and SharePoint Designer (of which at least 2 years’ experience needs to be with SharePoint Designer 2013) with working knowledge of Visual Studio a plus.
• Use the KM Agility Process (KMAP) in the successful creation, maintenance, updating and trouble-shooting of applications in a cloud-based environment similar to Amazon Web Services in addition to Security+ certification a plus. These skills and insight will guide and implement innovative advances with cloud computing services for the J2 organization.
• The successful use of authentication security features and protocols when creating or modifying new and existing projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to consult with other engineers and analysts of varying technical literacies.
• A general understanding of CCMD level mission sets, OPLANs; intelligence analysis is a plus.
