Web Designer Jobs

Dogwood Media Solutions is a fast-growing marketing agency based in Pike Road, Alabama. We are currently accepting resumes for a web designer.

A web designer at Dogwood will thrive under pressure while delivering high-quality design projects. You will work under our creative director, primarily creating web designs. The focus of this position will be on website designs that are responsive and built with accessibility in mind. If you are already a graphic designer and understand what good web designs look like, the details can be taught. The perfect candidate is comfortable multi-tasking, working both independently and collaboratively, and can communicate within a team environment effectively.

Desired Qualities:

• Understanding of front-end development
• Familiarity with Figma, WordPress, Elementor, and or Drupal
• Ability to communicate clearly with the creative director, project manager, and director of technology
• Understanding of UI and UX Principles
• Ability to evaluate client needs and adjust accordingly
• Organized and Self-Motivated
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to utilize constructive criticism from peers/client

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer
• Ability to work collaboratively in an open environment with others in our organization
• Never misses a deadline
• Thorough knowledge of all Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• A person of character with a lively personality
• Clean public-facing social media profiles
• Must be self-motivated to succeed in this position
• The ability to design consistently and creatively is needed
• You can talk about what you do and why you love doing it

This position can be located in our Montgomery area (Pike Road) or Birmingham area (Trussville) offices. Remote is not being offered at this time for this position.
