Water Plant Operator Jobs

The Water Plant Operator runs the equipment, control the processes, and monitors the plant that treats the water. Maintains the water treatment plant systems in order to ensure that residents have safe and clean water in accordance with federal, territorial and municipal legislation, policies and standards.

Salary range will vary depending upon the successful applicant's Water Treatment Operator certification level and experience.
Level I: $46,256.23-$52,038.26
Level II: $48,597.95-$54,672.70
Level III: $51,058.23-$57,440.50
Level IV: $53,643.06-$60,348.43

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma (GED) and 3 years related experience or post-secondary education in water, wastewater, power, or process plant technology. Must provide documentation of certificates/degrees.

Specials Requirements

The ability to obtain a North Dakota Water Treatment Plant Certification. If applicant is granted an interview, a resume, certifications, licenses, must be uploaded with the application or a hard copy made available to the interview panel at the time of the interview.
