Warehouse Worker Jobs

We are hiring Warehouse Worker for one of our clients in Scottsdale, AZ.

• The remaining 50% requires working on the warehouse floor helping customers with over-the-counter orders and receiving deliveries.
• This position will spend 50% of their time on pickups and deliveries to and from City building in Scottsdale.
• At least 50% of the work is conducted outside of the warehouse on delivery runs & pickups.
• They will drive a City vehicle or accompany another employee to complete these jobs.
• The warehouse worker position fulfills the primary operations of Scottsdale's central warehouse which include customer service, deliveries, pickups, & receiving.

Skills Required

• Discern warning and safety alarms such as vehicle backup alarms.
• Operate a motor vehicle, and travel to/from various City locations.
• Sit for extended periods of time while driving a City Vehicle maintaining constant vigilance to the surrounding area.
• Operate a variety of standard office equipment including a computer terminal, telephone, and calculator, and copy machine requiring continuous and repetitive arm, hand and eye movement.
• Lift and carry boxes, crates, bags, parcel packages and store supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Moderate exposure to dust, noise, inclement weather, temperature extremes and unpleasant odors.
• Perform manual work that requires standing and walking/moving continuous periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching arms above head, climbing elevations.

Skills Preferred

• Forklift Operator Operation of box van, pick-up truck, fork truck, receiving software.

Experience Required

• 6 months warehousing or related field.
• Any combination of training, education or experience equivalent to one year experience in either warehouse, stores, delivery services.

Experience Preferred

• 6 months - 1 year warehousing or related field
• Any combination of training, education or experience equivalent to one year experience in either warehouse, stores, delivery services.

Education Required

• A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.

Education Preferred

• Certified Forklift Operator

Work Hours

• 06:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Additional Information

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date.
