Warehouse Technician Jobs

We are seeking an organized, motivated individual to join our team.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY: Cleans, organizes and maintains warehouse. Receives shipments, packages and labels all outbound shipments in a timely manner, and perform other duties, as assigned.
Essential Functions

• Perform weekly, monthly, and annual Environmental Health And Safety inspections.
• Warehouse shop – Manage warehouse and inventory, maintain a clean and organized work area, shop, warehouse, and rear of building. Clean and route incoming equipment.
• Maintain common areas including ordering supplies.
• Coordinate demo/loan equipment for sales team as needed.
• Shelves are to be stocked neatly, and equipment is to be placed in its appropriate areas.
• Clean, organize and maintain warehouse.
• Floors are to be swept and trash/cardboard boxes broken down and disposed of at end of each day.

Other Functions

• Arrange for immediate pick-up to ensure prompt delivery to final destination.
• If shipment container is damaged: note condition on freight company’s bill of lading.
• Matches packing slips to original purchase orders.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
• Packages & labels all outbound shipments in a timely manner.
• Check quantity and condition of materials received.
• Unpacks, tags, pre-preps & forwards equipment/supplies to appropriate holding area.
• Return all defected shipments and ensure appropriate credit for company
• As shipments are received:
• Dates and receives each line on the purchase order within the computer tracking system.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to use the computer
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem resolution abilities
• Ability to use hand truck and lift
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet the company standard level driving record
• Ability to work in a high paced environment
• Requires pushing, pulling, lifting and uncrating of equipment
• High School education
• Strong customer service skills and knowledge of order process
• Works well with others
• Knowledge of funding and payer requirements
• Possess good organizational skills
• Strong ability to assess staff capacity and skill set
