Opportunity

Robern, a Kohler company, relies on the efficiency of its warehouse to delight our customers. Currently, we’re seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our fulfillment center in Bristol, PA. This skilled multi-tasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and shipping activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met and exceeded. They will ensure lean manufacturing strategies are applied within the warehouse. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for thousands of product orders every year. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.


KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Ensure that the warehouse operates at maximum efficiency — with customer delight as the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, training warehouse employees, and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational KPIs.
  • Prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocation/utilization, equipment performance, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Develop warehouse operating systems by determining a put away, delivery, and shipping process for each sku including storage requirements, square foot optimization, equipment utilization, inventory management, and efficient and cost-effective shipping methods.

Skills/Requirements

  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience creating and managing budgets and capital plans is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5 -10 years of experience in warehousing and distribution required; Bachelor’s degree in related areas such as: Supply Chain, Logistics, Applied Management, or Business Administration a plus.
  • Knowledge of materials management, inventory control, warehouse and DC operations, material handling equipment, lean warehouse principles and transportation is required.
  • Must have strong, demonstrated leadership competencies that have driven results in the areas of Cost, Quality, Service, Safety, and Continuous Improvement in Warehousing and Distribution Center environments.

The salary range for this position is $87,450 - $111,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
