Caniff Electric Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company, is a full-line wholesale electrical distributor specialized to serve the commercial and industrial electrical industry. Caniff has multiple locations that serve Southeast Michigan.
Warehouse Order Picker
Our Warehouse Order Pickers are crucial to the operation of Caniff Electric Supply. These general warehouse associates are tasked with a wide array of warehouse duties including but not limited to order pulling, checking, stock put-away, inventory control, product and shelf labeling, and general upkeep/housekeeping. Accuracy and timeliness are key in performing this role.
Responsibilities:

• Shelf Maintenance
• Checking Orders
• General Housekeeping
• Stock Put away
• Inventory Labeling and Location Assignment
• Fill Orders

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• 8 hour shifts or longer with overtime as needed.
• Physical work including but not limited to being able to lift and carry up to 100lbs, bend, kneel, climb ladders and be on feet walking/standing entire shift.
• Dependable and accurate.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse work experience.
• Forklift experience a plus or willing to learn.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fundamental math and reading skills.

Hours: M-F, 8-5, 10-7, overtime as needed
Job Type: Full-time, $18.00-$20.00 per hour starting pay
