Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor Jobs

Position Overview:

Responsible for all Receiving and Shipping functions. Reports to the Director of Operations. This opening is for DAY SHIFT, which operates 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Job Function:

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing Company standards and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and other departments, including Customer Service and Purchasing.
• Resolve shipping issues and inventory discrepancies.
• Create, use and analyze metrics to evaluate both the performance of warehouse personnel and the effectiveness of warehouse processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Supervise all functions of a busy warehouse including the management of inbound and outbound product shipments, inventory control, and day to day workflow.
• Hire, train, schedule and motivate warehouse personnel.

Skills Required:

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Familiar with UPS, FedEx, and International shipments.
• Familiar with International tariffs a plus .
• Familiar with all Microsoft programs is a plus.
• Positive attitude.
• Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
