JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the employee will perform various duties in the warehouse.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Note: Your resume must be included to complete your application
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous remote site camp experience and/or related area experience
  • Certification/proficiency in powered industrial truck (PIT)/powered pallet jack (PPJ) operations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Receive, store inventory, and maintain items delivered to the warehouses
  • Willingness to perform others duties as required
  • Maintain required environmental deemed hazardous waste satellite accumulation areas
  • Daily inspection/service checks of PITs & PPJs
  • Supervision of warehouse helper
  • Daily PIT/PPJ operation
  • Assist Chef in planning production
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
  • Weekly product orders
  • Assist Chef with product inventory and ordering
  • General sanitation of warehouses
  • Willingness to work at various locations as required\
  • Work in freezer conditions for prolonged periods
  • Adhere to client & company safety policies and procedures

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The employee will be required to live and work in a remote and confined workspace for extended periods of time and exposure to work assignments consisting of twelve-hour days and able to work day or night shifts as required. The majority of the work is performed in a remote setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities. There may be a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee’s work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Applicant will be required to successfully complete a post-offer pre-hire physical and Functional Capacity Exam.
