We are now hiring an Inventory Control Cycle Counter. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing inventory inquiries including mis-slots and quality concerns, coordinating and helping to develop inventory policies and procedures; as well as, supporting inventory projects and programs to ensure accuracy and in compliance with service levels.


Some of what you will do:


  • Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location
  • Performs other relevant job duties as required
  • Reviews and develops inventory control procedures as appropriate
  • Schedules and coordinates all physical inventories and cycle counts including date checks
  • Prepares physical inventory recaps on a timely basis for distribution to management
  • Maintains record retention program in compliance with corporate guidelines and policies
  • Monitors quarterly parts and supply inventories to ensure accuracy
  • Identifies and resolves all internal shrink problems
  • Perform basic slotting functions as needed
  • Monitor warehouse outs including daily reports to include: Daily Inventory Change, Negative Inventory, Daily Inventory Evaluation, Building MW676 Tolerance Report, Display MW676 Tolerance Report and other inventory related reports and take any necessary corrective action in order to maintain high service levels
  • Researches mis-slots and quality issues, verifies pick slots and back stock verification
  • Track and maintain SOX compliance relative to 3rd Party audit & Company standards

Who should apply?


Professionals with the following:


Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Capability of being licensed in operating powered industrial equipment

Experience:

  • Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
  • Experience as a selector or lift operator (strongly preferred)

Knowledge:

  • Strong math, tabulation, and reconciliation skills
  • Understanding of safety guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of applicable warehouse mgmt. system and RF system
  • Understanding of paperwork and reporting methods related to tracking inventory

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills; both written and oral applications
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to recognize and read location codes, date codes and product codes
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be motivated and take initiative

Here are some of the physical aspects of the job and environment:

  • Use repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, mount, and dismount equipment.
  • You will perform work in a refrigerated warehouse with temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to 55 degrees Fahrenheit, and a non-refrigerated warehouse with temperatures that range from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Must be able to twist, turn, reach over shoulders, and stand/walk on a continual basis
  • Lift 100 pounds easily throughout your shift
  • Operate an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and/or other misc. equipment
  • Stooping, squatting, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties

You must always wear safety garments. Safety shoes that are approved are always required.
