Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:


Accurately identifies, verifies, records and receives inbound shipments and ensures product and packaging quality. Lumpers work in insuring proper sorting, segregating, staging and flowing of inbound product. Base pay of $14.57/hr. M-F 6am-3pm.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A PALLET JACK AND FORKLIFT


  • Ensure product and packaging quality.
  • Accurately identify, verify, record and receive inbound shipments
  • Work with and instruct other individuals in insuring proper sorting, segregating, staging and flowing of inbound product.


Professional Skills:


  • Great attendance
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to work physically for duration of shift.
  • Ability to work efficiently at a rapid pace


Language skills:


Ability to read and comprehend simple but detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos.


Mathematical skills:


Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.


Reasoning ability:


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
