Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Effective management of loading operations to include orders filling/loading of applicable delivery vehicles. Provide direction of 15-20 hourly employees. Oversees product breakage management.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Recommend discipline to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager/Director regarding employee work rule violations.
  • Pulls bulk orders for warehouse pickers as needed.
  • Tracks daily picking standards for warehouse associate productivity.
  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Train others to assist in warehouse functions.
  • Checks bulk picking orders for accuracy.
  • Expense control and implementing safety initiatives.
  • Covers delivery supervisors’ responsibilities on Monday.
  • Checks in drivers ending inventory through driver’s hand held.
  • Manage product loading and housekeeping.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 years Warehouse Supervisory experience; OR 5 years Warehouse Supervisory experience.
  • Related training or certification.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
