Warehouse Assistant Jobs

Jet Machine, one of Wulco's four divisions, primarily specializes in the defense industry - creating uparmored kits for the JLTV vehicles in the military. Our warehouse assistant receives the finished product from our surrounding facilities, visually inspects the product, and coordinates the shipping and receiving of the product. The ideal candidate will be dependable, efficient, organized, and have a great attention to detail.

/ Responsibilities

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for assisting with general warehousing operations for the Jet Machine facilities. Responsibilities and job duties include:

• Labels parts with specified tags/labels in accordance to the customer's standards
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Packaging finished parts into custom containers and crates
• Load and unload delivery trucks/pallets using a forklift, by hand, or using power hoist
• Inventory control using Excel spreadsheets
• Organizing received material, preparing inventory for shipment
• Assembles finished product to customer blueprints and standards
• Ship packages and skids to vendors and customers
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using handtools.
• Labels parts with specified tags/labels in accordance to the customer's standards
• Maintains a clean work area

Job Skills & Requirements

• Able to lift 50+ lbs comfortably and consistently
• Dependable and prompt
• Good attitude
• Experience on a forklift is strongly preferred
• Problem Solving Skills
• Attention to Detail
• Familiarity of Excel
