Please note that this position is a 12-hour night shift (7 am - 7 pm) with 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation schedule)

Summary:
Responsible for staging, loading, and unloading finished products and raw materials and stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate all Material Handling Equipment and perform the necessary safety checks prior to operating.
The trailer must be secured to the dock via a dock lock system or wheel chocks prior to entry
|All job functions must be performed within the scope of the Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s)
Always maintain food safety awareness and immediately report any issues to management.
Operate within the guidelines of all SQF policies and procedures.
Operate within the guidelines of all Pretzel’s Inc. policies and procedures.
Receive material in from vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
Verify the quantity, lot, and description of materials received by checking against the packing list and/or Bill of Lading (report/record any discrepancies)
Perform all necessary inspections and verifications.
Correctly attach identifying tags or labels to materials as needed.
Safely and accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designated storage areas to maintain the identity of preserved food, FIFO picking philosophy, and orderliness.
Make all necessary transactions within EPICOR to ensure inventory accuracy and lot control is always maintained.
Comprehend data entry into EPICOR and databases.
Comprehend the reading of shipping & receiving documents, gauges, schedules, and dispatches.

Relationships/Contacts
In a positive tone, communicate to customers, drivers, dispatchers, etc., at the window or by phone. Communicate with the oncoming crew to ensure a smooth transition.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: Forklift certification, M.H.E. Certification.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required.
Must pass the Math skills test.
Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds required
