Part- time role (Either 2 or 3 shifts per week) PM shift hours 4PM- 12AM Primary Job Duties

• Answers telephone for the nursing units, take messages or appropriately direct calls, handles inquiries in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Must possess strong computer skills
• Maintains appointments for all residents, ensuring that resident and family have been notified and confirming that transportation has been arranged with resident family and documented appropriately.
• Assists nursing personnel in the feeding and direct care of residents as the need is warranted. Requirements:
• Welcomes families and new residents to the unit.
• Must be IDPH Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Long Term Care experience preferred
• Prepares documents for transfers, discharge, and appointments such as labs, medication list, etc.
• Filing, managing nursing correspondence and maintaining resident records.
• Knowledge of medical records regulations and release of health information
• Must be CPR certified
