Vp Of Supply Chain

Daily Expectations

• Oversee the process of monitoring open SO’s and PO’s to project DOH inventory
• Provide clear direction and resources for direct reports.
• Wake up every morning thinking about Inventory. (i.e. Inventory Value, COGS, Right product/Right location, lead times, etc.)
• Resolve any issues with day-to-day distribution center activities
• Managing daily operations and revenue generation to ensure continual growth

Weekly Expectations

• Actively participate in Executive level L10’s, Weekly check-ins with the Director of Purchasing and Director of Operations.
• Review Director’s scorecards and quickly think of solutions to improve processes.
• Focus on geographic expansion, training, safety concerns, and operational efficiency
• Maintaining awareness of competitors, expansion opportunities, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards
• Making sure processes, policies, and procedures are implemented and followed between all locations. Guaranteeing our on-time delivery is being met with accurate pricing.

Monthly Expectations

• Standardization and optimization of Procurement, Distribution, and facility-based supply chain activities
• Bulk buy opportunities as well as strategic sourcing opportunities including white-label product development
• Identify opportunities for Distribution and Supply chain process improvements and support management that enable optimization of customer service, cost, and cash
• Build relationships with employees, division leaders, and clients
• Make sure we are hitting goals with PO’s, SO’s, and DOH and course correct
• Clearly defined strategies communicated to the entire organization

Measurable Expectations

• Lead time, freight costs, and accurate delivery dates
• Managing data on purchase orders, inventory, costs, and vendors (purchasing scorecard)
• Inventory accuracy, adjustment dollars, days on hand, lead time, and reduce inventory overage
• Client growth, retention rate
• Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of your direct reports

Requirements

• 5 years of management experience
• Experience with leading high-performance teams
• Must be able to travel up to 40%
• 5 -10 years minimum Supply Chain experience
• Have a high understanding of inventory and be able to create solutions for inventory-based challenges
• Strong relationship management skills
• Must be commutable to Delavan, WI
• Experienced in the distribution industry
