About The Job


Our client is a global player in the P&C insurance and legacy acquisition space. During to consistent growth and a rapidly changing industry environment the company is looking to expand it's corporate finance group.


This group is responsible for developing, guiding, and executing strategic initiatives that will position the company for short- and long-term growth and success, and in helping define and communicate the companies achievements, goals, and vision.


We are looking for a candidate with 7+ years of experience within the Corporate finance, corporate development, investment banking or management consulting . Additional exposure to the insurance industry is highly preference.


The compensation on offer for this role is $200,000 - $225,000 with bonus and other benefits.


Key responsibilities:


  • Communicate strategic priorities and execution plans via presentations, meetings, and written communications
  • Assist in the execution of acquisitions and/or other strategic transactions by performing financial analysis, due diligence, deal and document negotiations, and in facilitating coordination with senior leaders and outside parties such as investment banks, legal counsel, actuarial and other advisors
  • Assist in the development and execution of communications and presentations regarding the company's financial performance and results, strategic updates, vision and other materials for a C-suite audience, board of directors, public market investors, rating agencies and business partners
  • Work with the Head of Corporate Development and senior management and business leaders to determine, scope, and execute strategic priorities that will define the future of the company and how they get there
  • Support and lead cross-functional initiatives working with business, finance, legal, investments, risk, actuarial, and capital for transactions and strategic projects


Required experience:


  • Financial modeling experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, such as investment banking, corporate development, or management consulting.
  • Experience in insurance and insurance accounting and regulation
  • Recently qualified MBA or similar qualifications.
