Job Description
Summary


We’re looking for an exceptionally talented and motivated individual to join email marketing team as an automation campaign lead. This position will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled email creative developer professionals while also acting as a hands-on email campaign builder. The integral leader will mentor, execute and deploy E*TRADE’s automated email campaign efforts including coding, building email templates, managing testing, preparing final audience lists, scheduling email deployments, and communication of project status updates with stakeholders. The role will be measured by accuracy, timeliness, mentoring team members, partnership trust, and risk mitigation. This position has a high degree of cross functional interaction and partners closely with members of multiple Marketing teams. The individual should be self-motivated, possess the ability to lead independently, and balance a workload that consists of highly detail-oriented email execution processes. The candidate must be comfortable in a data driven environment and comfortable enforcing process standards with partners.


Responsibilities


  • Leverage approved creative content to create email campaigns
  • Provide support as needed for campaign performance reporting
  • Utilize tools and scripting language to apply personalization
  • Establish a communication cadence to align with staff and stakeholders on the status of projects and email deployments
  • Develop automated email campaigns and customer journeys to optimize new and existing Marketing programs
  • Mentor team members in support of timely, accurate campaign asset builds
  • Connect pre-built campaign data with creatives
  • Ensure that deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality
  • Appropriately assign email campaign builds to email marketing team members
  • Perpetually optimize execution and partner planning processes
  • Work with campaign owners, Marketing Operations campaign data, and quality assurance partners to manage a master campaign calendar including frequently shifting priorities


Requirements


  • Experience managing and transmitting data files across multiple systems
  • 5-7 years relevant experience managing email deployment, technical projects, and the deployment of marketing programs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert at monitoring Salesforce Marketing Cloud as well as instituting email campaign best practices such as CAN-SPAM, deliverability, automation monitoring, deployment and testing
  • Excellent written and communication skills with both business and technical colleagues
  • Expert, hands-on experience with building automated campaigns via SalesForce Marketing Cloud automation studio and journey builder
  • Prior experience in financial industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business disciplines
  • 3+ years experience web development with strong knowledge of coding HTML and AMPscript
  • Excellent project/process management skills and a strong eye for detail and documentation
  • Experience testing and trouble shooting

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
