FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

The VP, Content Creation & Distribution is responsible for oversight of the station's news and media content creation and for developing the vision and strategies across multiple platforms that maximize A2564 impressions and engagement across linear, OTT, social media and the web. Lead, manage and motivate staff and establish on-going objectives for content coverage while maintaining standards for journalistic integrity. Responsibilities also include overall management of the department including, budgets, expenses, capital, strategic planning, impression analysis, talent search, website, mobile apps, social media, new technology etc. The VP, Content Creation & Distribution works closely with the SVP, General Manager in developing strategies and overachieving goals. This person will also develop a professional working relationship with other station department heads, staff and corporate level executives.

Top 30 market experience preferred. College degree required. Position requires an innovative thinker who understands media consumption on all platforms. This person must be a hands-on leader and must possess great judgment, integrity, outstanding planning, organization, team building skills, and a passion for good content. Strong written and presentation skills, knowledge of and understanding of research, impressions and promotion are essential. Maintain professional guidelines and standards of content broadcasts and staff. Must have a superior understanding of libel laws as they apply to broadcast content, as well as an understanding of the professional journalist's rights and responsibilities. Be ready to handle all inquiries and correspondence from the public regarding broadcast content matters.
