Volunteer Firefighter Jobs

Job Duties

Responds to fire alarms and other emergency calls.

Performs the necessary functions and operations to efficiently and effectively protect the lives and

property of those in need of assistance.

Operates fire apparatus at the scene of emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s License

High School diploma

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to attend monthly business/training meetings.

Must be able attend 15% of all calls per year.

Must be able to pass background check, drug testing, and physical.

Salary Info: Volunteers are compensated quarterly for per call attendance based on funds approved by

Council.
