Job Description
Overview:
Job Title: Visual Apparel Merchandiser (Nationwide Leading Active Brand)
Status: Part-time
Availability: Must be able to work 2 consecutive 8-hour days (Wednesday & Thursday)
Payrate: $22-24/hour

Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location

Position Summary:
  • Visual Merchandiser (VM) will be responsible for implementing all visual directives for a nationwide active brand at their retail location
  • Must have high-level visual acumen to be able to accomplish window displays, internal visuals as well as on-floor visual merchandising and test projects internally in a store
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with store leadership & teammates to develop visual merchandising strategies, and goals to be executed during each visit
  • Provide timely completion of daily Store Visit Report and photo requirements, clearly communicating daily accomplishments
  • Foster partnership with store management to create a positive working relationship and achieve project goals
  • Be the lead in executing merchandising strategies in a manner that is least disruptive to the store and protects the customer experience
  • Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technology: A smartphone is required for reporting purposes; tablets are not recommended. For iOS users, we recommend an iPhone 6 or greater and iOS of 12.0 or greater. For Android users, we recommend devices that are no more than 5 years old and updated to Android OS 9.0 or greater.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and be mobile for the entire duration of an 8-hour work shift
  • Ability to provide clear communication effectively and professionally, both verbally and in written reports
  • Passion for retail merchandising and visual story telling in an energetic environment
  • 5+ years of visual merchandising experience with active apparel, and footwear, including mannequin styling
