Description:The Institute seeks a videographerto document our19^thSustainability Summit.This year’s Summit features youth delegates Bristol County Agricultural High School and the island of Terceira, Azores.

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate should have experience videotaping events with great visual and sound.The candidate should have positive energy be organized and payattention to detail. She/he should be a self-starter with team spirit who works seamlessly with the team.

Videographer works with the team onsite and before the event, with the author, and a sustainability coordinator.

The position requires about1-2 hours of work per day for 4-6 days.

The candidate should be available on those days to film and prep the interviews.

Tasks include

·Graduation Event: June 9: 1-2 pm

·Interview The Institute’s Summit Team: 1 hour/day or 2 hours x 2 days: after Summit hours: 2-3 pm

·Possibly film guest speakers: 12:30- 1:00 pm

·Optional Video Editing: The Institute’s team includes a video editor who can edit Summit footage. Or the Summit videographer can edit footage: including video highlights, social media, full graduation etc.

About the Sustainability Summit:We’ve hosted 18 Sustainability Summits: from Vieques, Puerto Rico to Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands to Martha’s Vineyard, and Rhode Island with youth delegates(aged 15-17)from many countries.Throughout this weeklong intensive leadership training, we expose young minds to inspiring leaders, opening doors and expanding their horizons. Youth delegateswork alongside of emerging leaders featured in the book,Stone Soup for a Sustainable World: Life-Changing Stories of Young Heroes. Sustainability practitioners share their journey and inspire students to explore Sustainable Career Pathways.

Location:Bristol County Agricultural High School, Taunton, MAand possibly the Summit house in Somerset.

Time Commitment

•Start date: June 4-9, 2023•Videographer interviews: May 15-18, 2023

• 1-2 hours/day•Compensation based upon experience
