Job Title: Video Editor and Animator

Client Location: On-site, Chevy Chase, MD

Starting: ASAP

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 3-4 months

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor/Animator to join team the team of fun Wedding Planners. This position requires mid-level expertise in video editing and animation, with the ability to work autonomously on assigned projects. The contractor will report directly to a supervisor who oversees a larger creative team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project timelines and meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Ensure consistency and high-quality standards in all video deliverables.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual style throughout the videos.
• Work closely with the supervisor to receive feedback and make necessary revisions.
• Edit and animate video content for our paid acquisition ads.
• Communicate progress and updates on projects to the supervisor and relevant team members.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Utilize video editing software to create visually appealing and engaging videos.

Requirements:

• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and animation work.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition.
• Mid-level experience in video editing and animation is acceptable for this position.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Familiarity with current video editing and animation trends.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in motion graphics and animation using tools such as Adobe After Effects.
• Strong understanding of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
