With a goal to expand our presence on TikTok and engage with an even broader audience, we are seeking a TikTok Content Creator to join our team in PR & Social to entirely focus on video content creation for TikTok to help us to grow on the platform.

As a TikTok Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in executing our TikTok strategy, producing highly engaging content and building a strong community of engaged followers. Your innovative ideas and ability to create visually compelling videos will help us showcase the best of what Sykes Cottages has to offer while capturing the hearts and minds of TikTok users across the UK.

This is not your average 9-to-5.30 desk job.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about travel and possesses a deep understanding of TikTok trends, culture, and viral content. You'll have the creative freedom to bring your ideas to life and contribute to our mission of inspiring people to book a UK holiday with Sykes Cottages.

You Will Need To Be Creative And Forward Thinking, Creating Video Content For TikTok As You Deliver In The Following Areas

• Staying up to date with the latest TikTok trends, challenges, and features to keep our content fresh and relevant
• Contributing towards our 6 monthly content calendar
• Monitor and analyse TikTok analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth
• Travel across the UK to create engaging, on trend & creative video content at a high volume for TikTok
• Experiment with new content formats and approaches to continuously optimise performance and engagement
• Creating engaging content/reacting to new and current trends
• Championing UK breaks to all followers
• Outstanding execution of video content for promotion on social media
• Engage with TikTok users, respond to comments, and foster a sense of community around our brand

This is not your average desk role; you will be required to travel across the UK throughout the year so a full driving license and a passion for travelling will be essential to this role as well as

• Full driving licence is essential for this role
• Confident working on your own and reacting quickly to important deadlines and last-minute changes
• Extremely organised, with the ability to juggle lots of ideas
• Understanding of how social media fits into the wider marketing mix
• Ability to multi-task in a team-orientated environment
• Experience of growing an engaged audience and can share examples
• Comfortable with Microsoft office
• Passion for UK travel
• Confident on camera
• Obsessed with TikTok and know how to create content that resonates with a target audience
• Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, viral content, and popular hashtags
• Understanding of social media principles and processes with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A deep understanding of TikTok's platform, algorithms, and user behaviour with a proven record of success on the platform preferably in the travel or lifestyle industry
• Highly creative and able to develop innovative/funny ideas
• Incredible attention to detail
• Experienced in creating & editing unique content quickly, following new trends, using memes and original sounds and can show examples
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Inshot)
• Strong visual and aesthetic sense, with an eye for detail and composition
• Excellent knowledge of activity in the wider market and the ability to stay on top of new platform innovations in the travel sector
