Vice President Of Procurement

A leading Construction corporation is searching for a Vice President of Procurement to lead their expanding department. This is a role with national and global responsibility leading a team of 10.

Responsibilities:

• Creates Key Performance Indicators aligned with business priorities and embraced by executive leadership that are meaningful, customer-centric, aggressive, and achievable and ensure these are well communicated and visible across organization from operators to leadership team.
• Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Develop relationships with vendors and suppliers to support cost-effectiveness and food quality
• Lead and manage a team of supply chain, Construction safety and quality assurance professionals to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals
• Creates a risk mitigation and resiliency plan for each SKU
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Oversees all aspects of company's supply chain strategy, including sourcing, procurement, and inventory management
• Monitor inventory levels and develop processes to minimize waste

Qualifications:

• Master's degree is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field
• Demonstrated success in running large scale construction operations
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on construction or raw materials
• Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, including procurement, strategic sourcing, directs, indirect, raw materials, and more.
