Vice President Of Manufacturing

Sterling Engineering has partnered with a mid sized manufacturing company in New Mexico on bringing in a VP level manufacturing expert to lead the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategy to ensure the success of the facility
• Implement capital projects and training programs to attain volume and productivity goals
• Balance production objectives with finished goods inventory objectives
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and development to all members of the management team
• Meet safety, quality, and service goals for the Plant
• Develop and ensure execution of site budgets

Qualifications

• Experience in a heavy metal/metal cutting atmosphere
• Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role at a manufacturing or distribution facility, or in an operations environment
• Previous P&L responsibilities
• Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skills
