Vice President Finance Jobs

This role is based in Connecticut, please only apply if you can go to the office 3 days/ week in CT.

This is an operations heavy role, please apply if you have experience in contract manufacturing, as it relates to costing/product manufacturing (negotiating with manufacturers) , OTB/forecasting and demand planning.

The VP of Finance and Operations is a hands-on businessperson and oversees the financial and operational activities of the organization. Reporting into the CEO, he/she serves as the key partner to the CEO to advise, create, and implement operational and financial improvements within the company.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to understand trends, analyze and communicate the business impact, and collaborate on the development of solutions.
• Lead the annual budgeting and weekly forecasting processes for all revenue streams and growth initiatives.
• Oversee Operations Team of 3 charged with all product innovation, manufacturing, logistics and IT.
• Build financial models, analysis, and ad hoc reports to support business decisions on revenue, merchandising, marketing initiatives and strategic growth and profitability initiatives.
• Coordinate Human Resources as part of a Professional Employer Organization
• Manage all purchasing and operations.
• Leader in all aspects of FP&A, accounting operations, cash flow, financial planning, and reporting
• Oversee Finance Team of 2 charged with AP/AR, Cash Management, Taxes, Monthly Close and reporting.
• Prepare presentations regularly to communicate budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and the Board.

Requirements

• Interested in continuously realizing improvements in processes within and between all departments and in people and team performances.
• Passion for finance and operations with ability to establish performance goals and metrics.
• Master’s degree a plus
• Proficient in PowerPoint and excel.
• Growth-oriented mindset and strategic approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial and operations management leadership in a highly visible, impactful role.
• Ability to work in a project-oriented, fast-paced environment with a collaborative team.
• Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite a plus.)
• Experiences across multiple sales channels, Mass retail a plus.
• Amazon and Marketing dashboards a plus.
