We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Fund Manager, with a military veteran background, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for raising capital and managing funds for the acquisition of government contractors. Your expertise in evaluating the potential value of both the company (Prime and subcontractor) and the contracts themselves will be the factor to driving successful investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, including government agencies, contractors, and industry experts, to source potential acquisition opportunities
• Raise capital from investors and manage funds for acquiring government contractors in the defense sector
• Monitor the performance of acquired companies and contracts, making strategic adjustments as necessary to optimize returns
• Provide regular reports and updates to investors on the performance and progress of the fund's acquisitions
• Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and requirements
• Develop and present investment proposals to senior management and potential investors, highlighting the value proposition and potential returns of the acquisitions
• Perform financial modeling and analysis to determine the valuation of the target company and its contracts
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including evaluating the financials, operations, and growth prospects of both the company and its contracts
• Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and contract opportunities to identify potential investment targets
• Collaborate with the broader investment team to leverage expertise and insights for better decision-making
• Assess the strategic fit and synergy potential of the target company with the existing portfolio

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fund Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully raising capital and managing funds for acquisitions
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of government contracting, including an understanding of prime and subcontracting arrangements, contract valuation, and compliance requirements
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to evaluate company financials, contract value, and growth potential
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment opportunities to potential investors and senior management
• Ethical conduct and adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry standards
• Military veteran with experience in the defense sector, preferably with knowledge of government contracting and acquisition processes
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with investors, government agencies, contractors, and industry experts
