Vehicle Personalization Consultant

Description:

Pay rate: $30

Location: One Porsche Drive Atlanta GA

Schedule: 2 days/week in office


This position is instrumental for the support of Porsche Classic Factory Restoration and the Sonderwunsch program globally. This position reports directly to the Factory Restoration Manager, Porsche Classic. The VPC works directly with project owners through VIP customer consultations alongside our Factory Restoration teams in the US and Germany. Clearly identifying the dreams and goals of our clients is paramount, as this position is the main liaison between the factory and owner. Key factors to this position are people management skills, an independent and structured work style, and assertiveness.


Roles & responsibilities:

• Lead VIP Customer management as Porsche Classic’s owner concierge

• Manage all vehicle personalization templates in alignment with Porsche AG for the Sonderwunsch program

• Coordinate all program requests to PCNA and PAG Factory Restoration Management, and Sonderwunsch teams

• Support all project estimate development

• Participate in all project on-boarding managing elements including contract approval, payments, and vehicle transportation

• Manage all design development steps including vehicle visualization renderings

• Develop and support sales initiatives

• Manager creation of project memory offerings, including Restoration Booklets

• Support interdisciplinary projects

• Seeks to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard personal and/or competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats

• Varying amounts of overnight travel is required/participation in special events during evenings/weekends may be required


Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field

• 3 years of professional work experience

• High Proficiency in VIP customer consultation

• Strong knowledge of automotive engineering and history of Porsche

• Strong knowledge of Porsche Classic model family

• Ability to work in a multicultural team, team-oriented working attitude

• High degree of self-motivation and positive problem-solving capabilities

• High Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)

• Ability to efficiently multi-task with proficient organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work under tight deadlines

• Ability to drive manual transmission

• Valid Driver’s license

• Clean driving record


Preferred qualifications include:

• 3 years’ experience in exclusive or high end consultative selling

• Experience in program margin analysis

• Porsche vehicle parts knowledge

• Strong Porsche model knowledge

• Strong strategic and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to effectively negotiate or mediate difficult situations

• Functions well under stressful conditions

• Experience in project management, marketing projects, and reporting

• Self-starter/organized

• Tenacious/adept at follow-up


Percentage of required travel: Up to 25%

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday-Friday standard; minimum 40% in office

• some Weekends
