Job Title: Vascular Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vascular Technologist to join our team in Grand Forks, ND. The Vascular Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients with suspected or known vascular diseases using ultrasound and other imaging equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist the physician in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases
• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound imaging according to protocols and procedures
• Maintain and operate the ultrasound equipment
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and policies
• Analyze and interpret the ultrasound images and the patient history
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain procedures and record medical histories
• Ensure that the images and patient records are properly archived and maintained
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
• Ability to operate, calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or meet eligibility requirements to take the credentialing exam
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic or Diagnostic Medical Technology or in Vascular Technology
