Valuation Analyst Jobs

A Business Valuation and Transaction Analyst will provide valuation analysis and transaction consulting services for clients in a vast variety of industries. An analyst will experience immediate client contact, interacting daily with CEOs, CFOs, and their advisors.Vision’s valuation analysis and transaction consulting services help to support the sale of privately held Companies across the Country.A day in the life may include, but not be limited to, researching new industries, visiting client facilities, interacting with client management and their advisors, and using sophisticated financial models while preparing transaction analyses and written valuation reports.

Responsibilities

Preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses

Preparing for and attending client field visits and management interviews

Interacting with company executives and their advisors during the valuation process

Writing valuation reports and presentations

Qualifications

Degree in Finance or Accounting

1-3 years of finance or accounting related experience. Prior business valuation experience not required.

Excellent analytic foundation with advanced understanding of financial statements and various valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, etc.)

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency at financial modeling with Microsoft Excel

Intermediate/advanced understanding of financial theory and general accounting issues

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advanced computer skills (primarily Excel and Word)

Accountability and ability to multi-task

Up to 20% travel required
