Vaccine Field Sales Specialist:


The Rx Field Sales Team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vaccine Field Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Vaccine Field Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving net new sales in the vaccine category of products by actively promoting and selling our vaccine products and services in coordination with Rx Field Specialists and local Primary Care sales representatives. The ideal candidate should possess expert knowledge in the vaccine category, exceptional sales skills, and a proven track record of closing net new business. This is a field-based role that involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within sales, our customers, and our category management team.


You will have specific financial growth responsibility (sales revenue) and will focus on closing new vaccine business through sales focused customer interaction and by providing exceptional support to our field sales organization and customers. You will be the embodiment of our commitment to growth acceleration and being “easy to do business with”.


The Vaccine Field Sales Specialist will drive growth of vaccine sales throughout their defined sales territory and will represent the Rx organization across the business promoting cross functional collaboration. This position is remotely located within their assigned region and has estimated travel of 30%.


Responsibilities:


  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements, guidelines, and trends in the vaccine category to effectively communicate and educate sales colleagues, healthcare professionals and decision-makers
  • Coordinate closely with Rx Field Sales Specialists in your region to support the needs of the Rx team, sales teams and customers related to the vaccine category of products
  • Assist in developing a strategy to target and close net new vaccine business
  • Work closely with Vaccine Category Management to understand the category and our offering
  • Develop a deep understanding of our vaccine product and service offerings along with our competitive advantages
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations with key stakeholders to demonstrate the value proposition of our vaccine products, address questions and objections.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Located remotely within designated regions. Must be willing to travel a minimum of 30%. Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Enthusiastic about speaking in front of groups of colleagues and customers. Able to develop PowerPoint presentations and present.
  • Capable of learning new and/or complex products and processes quickly to facilitate in the new product launch process
  • Ability to train and educate the sales force on product offering
  • Ability to strategically build relationships with sales leadership, customers, and internal business partners
  • Ability to take ownership, influence others, and drive sales process from inception to close
  • Solid understanding of cost and margin structures.
  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of sales experience; preferably in the field of healthcare; with a proven track record of success against financial/sales goals and vaccine product knowledge
  • Proven experience working in complex situations and negotiating with senior level decision makers
  • Experience with primary care and/or extended care markets and customers

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.


Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:


$150,000 - $250,000


Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
