What you will be doing
The UX Content Writer is responsible for providing UX content throughout Albertson’s Health and Wellness business for use across all channels including web and mobile apps. The UX Content Writer will create new microcopy (e.g., landing page copy, product listings, product detail, menus, definitions, buttons, labels, chatbots, and error messages) and edit existing copy to provide clear instruction to our customers.
This role requires strong microcopy writing skills that are intuitive to customers, in keeping with our brand voice, and easily understood by most anybody, including people of different abilities, ages, gender identities, and backgrounds.
Main responsibilities
- Produce content audits, prioritize content, and develop messaging hierarchy.
- Produce error-free content that adheres to company and brand style guidelines.
- Write clear and action-orientated microcopy that provides a focused and guided experience to our customers.
- Partner with UX research to A/B test all UX copy.
- Partner with UX Research and UX Design to produce customer journey maps.
- Translate product details, user research insights and research, and mandatory legal statements into effective UX copy with a clear call-to-action.
The salary range is $72,1100 to $93,640 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

What we are searching for
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet all deadlines and expectations
- Detail-oriented with the ability to successfully edit a variety of copy efficiently and effectively
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate to a variety of stakeholders clearly and professionally at all levels of the organization
- Customer service focus and passion
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with change, uncertainty, and various situations (from well-defined to unstructured) and proactively identify business improvement areas and greater efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Friendly with a can-do attitude, with the ability to maintain effective business relationships at all levels of the company and business community.
- 8 - 10 years of UX content writing experience
- Ability to take ownership and drive consensus
- Strong computer skills, very well versed in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel specifically). Experience with Figma is preferred.
